Question:
does hitch allow liftgate sensor function on 2018 crv?
asked by: Jack
Expert Reply:
There are some hitch receivers for the 2018 Honda CR-V that allow for the hands free liftgate to function. Those options are:
EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 306-X7345
Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" # 36597
Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76128
These by the design allow the hands free liftgate to function on either side of the center receiver. The other options require the sensor relocation kit that you can only get from your Honda dealer.
