How Do Voyager Side View Camera Activate for Turn Signals
Updated 11/06/2018 | Published 11/05/2018 >
Question:
Do you know where to connect so it will come on with the turn signal. The aom713 is wired to trigger with the turn signals. Just purchased the vcms50 cameras that the 4 prong leads plug into the monitor. Thanks

To have an observation camera like # VCMS50LWT (left) and # VCMS50RWT (right) come on when turn signals are engaged the camera power wires need to be wired to those turn signal circuits.
The cameras themselves plug in at the monitor with their 4-pin connectors but the MONITOR portion of the system is what gets wired to the vehicle light circuit of your choosing with the 12V trigger wires so that the cameras activate with turn signals (if that is your preference) or with reverse lights or running lights, etc.
When connected to the triggering circuit the monitor will activate the camera when the chosen function is activated..
