Question:
2005 Full Tilt Vinyl Snap Tarp Dodge 1500 6ft My Extang model tarp does not snap behind cab. Only three sides. The tarp seems to be ed within a clamped tube-like rail. Does the Tarp slide out of this rail to replace? Trying to determine with taking whole frame off.

I reached out to my contact at Extang to make sure you get the correct replacement tarp. For your 2005 Dodge 1500 with 6-1/2 foot bed, you will use the Replacement Tarp for Extang FullTilt Tonneau Cover # EX5770. The black tarp fits over existing FullTilt hardware to replace original cover.
The frame does need to be removed from the truck for the replacement tarp installation and the tarp does slide out of the rail to replace the cover.
