Thule Universal Change Key 853-1251 Compatibility with Lock Cores

I have a change key marked D1251...is that an older version or the 853-1251? It will remove the newer locks but it doesnt seem to work with my N061 or R048 locks. Any Ideas??

I confirmed with my Thule contact that the Thule Universal Change Key parts D1251 and # 853-1251 are indeed one and the same item.
This key should work to remove your unlocked core # THLOCKN061 but it will NOT remove a core R048. Only cores that start with the letter code N are removable with the Universal Control key. Be sure your core N061 is unlocked before trying to remove it.
