Whether or not you can use weight distribution with your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee depends on its hitch. Look on the hitch for its weight rating and see if there is a second rating. If so this is for weight distribution so it is rated for it.

All of the hitches we carry for your Jeep are rated for weight distribution. If you don't already have a hitch receiver I recommend the Draw-Tite # 75699. I like how the cross tube is hidden behind the bumper and all you see is the receiver opening. I've linked an install video for you.

I've also attached a link to our selection of weight distribution hitches. You need to choose one that's rated for the loaded tongue weight of your trailer. Also factor in the amount of weight you add to the Jeep behind its rear axle. This acts as tongue weight for a selecting a weight distribution system.
