Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring Installed on Vehicle that Prevents Blinkers from Working

Question:
2017 Tucson Noticed all lights except turn signals on left of car were not working. Pulled the taillight off and reconnected direct bypassing the curt harness . Everything OK now. Has the harness gone bad? I have only used a trailer maybe once or twice a long time ago. Suggestions? What else could it be? Thanks,

Typically the issue you are having is just the connectors of the trailer wiring harness not making a solid connection. Disconnecting them and then reconnecting them typically clears out any issues but you might check the conditions of the pin to make sure a solid connection is being made. The converter box of the harness # C56348 does not affect the wiring of the vehicle so it most likely not be the issue.
