Question:

Is there a way to avoid water dripping inside the car while driving in the rain. The rainwater runs along the straps into the car. Léase advice. My car is a Fiat 500L 2014. Thanks

I called Yakima about the Yakima EasyTop Universal Fit Roof Rack part # Y07418 on your 2014 Fiat 500L and they said they were aware of the issue but there is not much that can be done to stop it. Unfortunately, that is just the nature running fabric straps though the vehicle.

If you have a hatchback model then you can install a fixed roof rack like the Thule Square Load Bar System part # TH712100, part # TH710501, and part # TH145171. You won't have any leaks with this system and it wont void the lease either as it can easily be removed without any damage to the vehicle.
