Question:
I purchased a Haul Master 4 way trailer wiring connection kit. White Brown Red Green Yellow A bit confusing when the box says 4 when there’s 5 wires

What you have is called a wishbone harness. The brown and red wires are both running light wires; one for each side of the trailer. This is so you won't have to run a jumper wire from one side of the trailer to the other in order to have running lights on both sides of the trailer.
