Will the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020 Void the Warranty if Installed on Camper

Question:
Does the installation of a roof rack - part # SR1020 - void manufacturers warranty? We have recently bought a new 2018 Rockwood Freedom 1940 popup camper and want to install it. The only thing that keeps us from not buying it is the warranty situation. Thanks.

The SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020 does install directly to the roof of your 2018 Rockwood Freedom 1940 popup camper. I tried looking up the warranty information but I was unable to locate it online. I would imagine that as long as this installation isn't the direct result of a claim that your warranty would still be good but that is something that you will need to verify with your paperwork or with your dealer.
According to the Federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, if something breaks on a product and you take it in for warranty repair, the dealer must honor your warranty unless whatever modifications you have added to the product actually caused the problem in question. From my research though if the warranty explicitly states that you cannot do something and you do it then that could void the warranty.
