Question:
Were night a 98 jaco 28 ft 5th wheel, we got it home was cleaning it out turned on ac and never got cool. My question is, it has aRVP 7000 series ducted ax unit on it, what unit can I purchase that will work with hole already there? Di we use existing thermostat? Akes I hear top unit and bottom unit, does this mean I have to buy 2 separate pieces. Sorry Im sure theseare all stupid questions, but Im new at this RV stuff Thank you

Most RV air conditioners use the same size hole in the roof. The Atwood Air Command # AT15027-22 requires a 14-1/2" long x 14-1/2" wide opening so you should be able to determine if this is a fit by measuring the opening, as best as you can, currently in the trailer.
The ceiling vent is included so you would not have to add one separately. You probably could use the existing thermostat but I highly recommend using the thermostat that is included, along with the remote, so you don't have to determine which wires on the old thermostat connect to which wires on the AC unit.
