I have a 2016 Nissan Rogue with factory installed roof railings. Ive already purchased Thule AeroBlade Edge bars 7502B but am looking to get a Thule Motion XT roof box. My question is will either size work with my vehicle? I want as much cargo space as possible, but dont want my cargo box to look like its on top of a toy car.

The 2016 Nissan Rogue that you have is considered a compact SUV which means it's not the biggest vehicle out there but it has a decent sized roof and overall size. I'd go with the L size of the Thule Motion XT part # TH629706 which has 16 cubic feet of storage and overall measures 77" long x 36" wide x 17" tall.
The picture I attached shows this box installed on a similar compact SUV to yours to give you an idea the overall look of it.
You may find loading the box easier with a step stool like # CAM43676
