Parts Needed to Install a Tekonsha P2 Trailer Brake Controller on a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500

Question:
I have a 2011 Dodge Ram with a Hemi. It has the tow package on it but it is missing the trailer brake. Dose the truck need to be reprogram to have the trailer brake work with the anti- trailer sway system that is in the truck.

Your 2011 Dodge Ram will not have to have the computer reprogrammed in order to install the Tekonsha P2 Brake Controller, # 90885. All you will need to install the brake controller is wiring harness # 3021-P. I have included a link to the installation details for the wiring harness for you. I have also included a link to the installation details for the brake controller.
