Have a 06 HHR. Wanting it to tow a small side-by-side that weighs about 1240 lbs on a 5X10 trailer. Will this work??

According to the owner's manual for the 2006 Chevy HHR the maximum towing capacity of the vehicle is 1,000 pounds. If you are able to get the weight down to that then you can tow a trailer using the following parts:
Trailer hitch # C11447
Ball mount # C45520
2 Inch Ball # C40018 or 1-7/8 inch ball # C40001
Wiring harness # 118407
