I recently purchased a 2001 Honda Passport and I am trying to put a hitch and wiring harness on the vehicle however I am lost as to which harness to buy that goes with the right hitch to buy, can you please help me.

Picking out trailer wiring for your 2001 Honda Passport is pretty simple on our end. The kit you'd want is the T-One part # 118360 which is a custom fit. I prefer this kit over the other options as this brand has the best repuation for reliability.
The hitch you'd then want is the Draw Tite part # 75092. This is a Class III hitch confirmed as a fit as long as you have the door mounted spare.
If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
