In order to find the stop light switch or cold side of brake pedal on your 2017 Ram ProMaster 1500 to install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 you will need to test each of the wires with a circuit tester like part # ALL640595 for the one that is only hot when the brake pedal is depressed. Unfortunately I do not have any information that tells me what color wire that is.
If you cannot determine which is the cold side of brake pedal then you can also splice the red wire on the controller into the center high mounted stop light (CHMSL) or a standalone switch like part # RM-751452.
