I have a 2018 Sierra 3500 with a factory gooseneck hitch.I am in need of a 3inch ball that would work with the factory hitch. I was looking at the Reese Part #: 19314. But wasnt sure if it was compatible...

The Reese Elite Series 3-Inch Gooseneck Hitch Ball # RP19314 is intended for the Ford and Ram factory gooseneck hitches but for the factory hitch in your 2017 GMC Sierra 3500, which is made by Curt, we do not have a 3-inch ball. I confirmed with Curt that no 3-inch ball is offered. I also checked with Reese and they have no 3-inch ball for the GM factory setup.
If it happens that your gooseneck is a B&W that was dealer-installed (not factory-installed) and if it takes a ball with a square shank you could use the 3-inch B&W ball # BWGNXA2025.
