Can the Hopkins Electronic Smart Level Be Calibrated?
Updated 07/03/2018 | Published 07/02/2018 >
Question:
I am having an issue with my Hopkins Smart Level. The bubble on the bubble lever is perfectly centered and when I use a 48 inch level on my trailer it is also perfectly level. The lights on the level are NOT green and show that the trailer is NOT level. Is there a way to calibrate the lights so they match up with the bubble level??

The Hopkins Electronic LED Smart Level for RVs and Trailers # HM08201 can be recalibrated. According to my tech contact at Hopkins, you simply will level your trailer using the bubble level and then press the green power button once. The top two lights should flash and that will help the level to recalibrate for the bars to help you with future use showing you either 1-1/2 inches or 1 inch increments as you determine in the settings shown on the sticker.
