Can you put your car through commercial car wash with roof box mounted on top of the car

All of our cargo boxes, including the SportRack Vista XL # SR7018 that you referenced, state in the instructions that the box must be removed before entering an automatic car wash.

The cargo boxes do help protect your cargo against the elements but will probably allow some water in at an automatic car wash plus they are not meant to take a beating like what would happen with the machines inside the car wash.
