Recommended Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack for a 2018 Ford F-150 with Backup Camera

Question:
I just bought a 2018 Ford F-150 Lariat with a back up camera. The camera is below the door handle. The door handle is 4inch from the top and the camera is about 6-1/2inch from the top. The tail gate has a built in ladder. Will this fit my tailgate?

I do have an option for your 2018 Ford F-150 but the Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack part TH824PRO would not be the best choice for you due to the size of the tailgate handle opening. Instead, I recommend the Yakima GateKeeper Tailgate Pad and Bike Carrier part # Y07411 which has a very large tailgate handle opening as you can see in the attached photo and will allow you to still use your handle and backup camera without any interference. The integrated tailgate step you have will also not create any issues.
The GateKeeper can carry up to 6 bikes, has SitTight cradles for security, and a rugged nylon outer surface for weather resistance. It also has a felt lining on the underside to protect the vehicle's finish. I have attached a review video for you.
