I am looking for a 50 amp surge protector. Is the CAMCO CAM55306 the best unit? What is its stated Joules? Or, what other unit would you recommend. Thx again for your help and patience.

If when you back your trailer up straight the Sidewinder arm turns at a slight angle then you have a wedge issue. Since you have a B and W Patriot the correct wedge is the part # SWW-06 which you'd want to verify is the one you have and is installed properly. Make sure it's facing the correct direction and that all of the install bolts are torqued down to spec.
Could you send a picture of the jaws of your hitch and the wedge as well possibly?
