Hi, I have a 2015 Nissan pathfinder with factory tow package so it comes with the 7 pole connector already attached. What components do I need to buy so I can tow a trailer with lights and brake control? Thanks

If you have a fully functioning 7-Way already installed on your 2015 Nissan Pathfinder with the tow package then all you need is a brake controller and an adapter. You can verify that your 7-Way is fully functional by using a circuit tester # PTW2979 to test the functions like you see in the attached picture.
I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is a proportional brake controller that will apply the brakes on your trailer at the same time and with the same intensity as the brakes in your vehicle. The best feature about this brake controller is the LCD screen that makes operation and diagnosing any problems much easier than an older controller that only uses codes. The adapter that you need is part # 3050-P and will plug in underneath your driver's side dash.
