How to Make a 7-Way Fully Functional on a 2007 Chevy Silverado

Question:

I have a 2007 Silverado, with towing package and 7 way connector. The wire for aux. 12v power is not hot at the connector. I heard they dont wire it from the factory. How do I make it hot? Thanks

There are two wires under the hood that have to be connected to make the 7-way functional on your 2007 Chevy Silverado. Check out the FAQ I attached that shows the connections that need to be made.
