How to Install a Hopkins Impulse Brake Controller on a 2008 Ford F-350 with ITBC

Question:

I have a 2008 Ford F350 Super duty and my integrated brake controller is not working. I have a Hopkins Impulse controller that I would like to install but I dont know what adapter I need. Thanks

The Plug-In Simple Brake Control Connector part # HM47855 will allow you to install the Hopkins Impulse on your 2008 Ford F-350 without having to cut or splice any wires. However, in order for the controller to work you will need to go to your local Ford dealer and have the factory integrated brake controller turned off. It can always be turned back on should you remove the aftermarket controller.
