Hi there, The US version of the sportwagen uses a dedicated bulb for the turn signal, and the running and brake light is a two stage bulb. In Canada, the turn signal is incorporated into the running and brake light bulbs, and all bulbs flash simultaneously to indicate a turn signal. Im wondering if this would make the harness incompatible with Canadian cars? Thanks

I do have a solution for you but I cannot confirm that wiring harness # 118730 will work with the Canadian 2017 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen. What you can use is a hardwire harness that is compatible with multi-plex and pulse width modulation wiring systems such as # 119250KIT.
