Can Reese Towpower ATV Hitch be Used in the Drop Position

Question:

What is the Metal thickness for the Reese Towpower 3-Way ATV Hitch #RP7065000? Also, I need to mount this hitch in the drop position. will the d-ring be in the way of the ball?Would I still be able to use the ball mounting the hitch in the drop position? THANK YOU

The Reese Towpower ATV Hitch, part # RP7065000, measures 3/8 of an inch thick except for the D-ring. The D-ring is a 1/2 inch thick.

The hitch can be used in the dop position. I went out and looked at it and there's plenty of room for a hitch ball to not interfere with the D-ring.
