Tracker Trailstar Swing Away Tongue Actuator Replacement Recommendation

Question:

I have a 20.5 foot 2011 Tahoe boat with the factory provided Trailstar 21 axle trailer. The brake actuator in the trailer is leaking. I took the trailer to Bass Pro Shops authorized factory service center. They ordered the brake actuator for a 2011 trailstar trailer. When the part came in, they said the part did not fit. The trailer was likely a 2010 trailer with a different actuator. This actuator part is no longer available according to them. They consulted with a trailer repair service about rebuilding the actuator, but the trailer repair service felt like they wouldnt be able to perform the work because of parts availability. Id like to either get an actuator, or replace the entire swing away tongue with something like this: T4839100 Naturally, I have no idea how to classify this tongue part. Im concerned about ordering the right part that is a direct bolt-on to the existing trailer. Please help me understand what I need to know in order to source the correct part.

The great thing about trailer actuators is that as long as you match up the capacity, brake style, and ball size a new coupler will easily work well. So as long as your trailer currently has disc brakes, weighs less than 7,500 lbs, and has a coupler for a 2 inch ball the Titan Swing Away Coupler part # T4839100 that you referenced will fit and work well.

Titan actuators like this are very well made which makes them very reliable. Also, in the even you need replacement parts for it they are readily available.
