Do Objects In the K-Source Extend-able Rear-view Mirror Appear Larger than They Really Are
Updated 08/24/2011 | Published 08/23/2011 >
Question:
Does this mirror show images in real life, you can see how FAR back a car is OR is it like those little round blindspot mirrors which show the car, but it APPEARS twice as far back as it really is? thanks!

This K-Source Extendable Rearview Mirror # KSRM012 has a convex shape to the mirror which will alter the depth perception of things behind you slightly. The reason for this is to give you a wider angle for viewing.
Even though this mirror is convex, it is not nearly as convex as the round blindspot mirrors that people put on these mirrors.
I would still recommend that you look over your shoulder before you change lanes, even with this mirror. It may also be helpful at first with this mirror to look through the mirror and then look over your shoulder to see how the mirror displays things in relation to how they look in real life.
