I attached a picture that shows where you'll find the brake controller install harness plug for your 2015 Thor Axis 24.1 built on a E-350 cutaway chassis. You'll want to use the # 3034-P which is a confirmed fit for the vehicle.
The port should be located behind the access panel in the center of the dash. You can use a trim panel puller to carefully pry the panel out, then undo the locking tabs to remove the panel. The connector will be behind this panel. I've attached an image showing the port's location.
For a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha P3 # 90195. This is a proportional brake controller that applies pressure to your trailer brakes in proportion to your vehicle's braking action. It has an easy-to-read LCD display and 3 boost levels for braking power adjustment.
