I have a 2018 Jeep Cherokee and plan to purchase a Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack to fit between my factory rails. I have an old sears topper and need to know what is the maximum distance between connections on the topper that will fit onto the Edge? I know the rail slides into the connection shoe on each side which will cut down on the total width available for connecting to the topper but I do not know the width of accessible edge space for connection when mounted on the Jeep Cherokee. I believe what you are referring to is the crossbar spacing of the Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack part # TH7501-TH7502 while installed on your 2018 Jeep Cherokee. This term refers to the distance between the two crossbars from front to back on center. If this is the case then the maximum crossbar spacing of this roof rack on your Cherokee is 34".
If this crossbar spacing does not work with your Sears Cargo Box then you can always drill new holes into the box to fit this spacing and then cover up the old ones with some sealant like part # LT37467.
