Question:

I am about to purchase a 2018 F150 SuperCrew 4x4 with the 5.0L V8 and 10spd tranny. It has the XLT Sport pkg and the FX4 off-road package c/w skid plates. Just want to ensure before I order, that the Curt C31083 front mount receiver will fit. I ordered from you guys before when putting the receiver on my 2010 Ram 1500 which I am replacing, and I was very impressed with the product and service at that time. I need a front receiver for my bike racks when I am trailering, so you chaps were are my first stop this time round as well. Thanks in advance

Curt hitch # C31083 is listed as a fit for the XLT trim on the 2018 Ford F-150. They do not specify anything regarding the FX4 package. You will most likely have to trim some fascia, skid plates, or remove them to complete the hitch installation of this or any front mount hitch for the truck. I have included a link to the installation instructions so you can see how and where the hitch installs to get a better idea of where, and what, will likely need to be trimmed.
