Distance From Rear of Bed to Base Rail When Installing Reese Universal Rails on 2007 Ram 2500

What are the measurements from the edge of the bed for installation of rails on a short bed 2007 dodge ram 2500

The Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP30035 referenced in your question will work on your 2007 Ram 2500 as long as it does not feature the overload brackets. If your truck has overload springs, you will need to add the Mounting Bracket Kit # RP58186.

When installing the rails on your short bed truck, there will be a distance of 26-5/16 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed to the rear edge of the base rail. I have attached the complete written installation instructions for this kit that you can also check out. The instructions specific to your Dodge Ram begin on page 11
