Question:

Is it possible to purchase only the Pace Edwards Explorer rails? I have the jackrabbit retractable tannoe cover installed on my 2016 Silverado 6.5foot bed but want to be able to haul my canoe and will require some sort of rack system. It seems my only option would be to replace existing with the Explorer rails.

I spoke with my contact at Pace Edwards regarding the JackRabbit Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-JRC95A17 you have installed on your Chevy Silverado. He stated that the standard rails on the cover can indeed be replaced with the Explorer Rails. To do this, you will just need the Replacement Explorer Rails # 311-TE5117, which includes both the driver and passenger side rails.

Once installed, you can then add a ladder rack like the Pace Edwards Utility Rig Rack # 311-UR3005 if you have the regular cab.
