Roof Rack Needed for Leer Camper Shell on a 1998 Ford Ranger

Question:
What rack system would be best to fit over a camper shell that bolts to the truck bed. It would be used to hold Canoe, canopy, maybe a spare tire. For a 1998 Ford Ranger 6ft bed. With a leer fiberglass camper shell.

The roof rack that we have to fit the Leer cap on your 1998 Ford Ranger is the Thule TracRac CapRac Ladder Rack # TH29200XT. This is specifically for camper shells and truck caps and will do a great job allowing you to carry extra equipment.
As far as weight capacity goes, the roof rack can hold as much as your Leer camper shell so you will need to find out the weight capacity of your camper shell to ensure that you don't overload it.
