Clearance for Air Vent on Thomas Payne Tri-fold RV Sofa Bed

Question:
etrailer Experts, I want to install the Thomas Payne Tri-fold RV sofa bed in our 2016 Palazzo 33.1 RV. I have 69.25 inches so the 68 inch version will fit. We dont know what the underside clearance is when the sofa bed is closed up, though. With the heater vents currently on the face of the Thor sofa bed, that becomes our concern for rerouting the vents and flex ducting. Were trying to decide if we can make this sofa bed work. Is there an exploded view of the tri-fold sofa bed that I can obtain? Has anyone requested assistance for an install to the Palazzo? If the Thomas Payne sofa bed is not a good option, can you suggest another sofa bed that does not rely on an air mattress? We have had two air mattresses fail since we purchased the coach so Im looking for a comfortable replacement sofa bed. Thank you for your assistance.

The Thomas Payne RV Trifold Sofa - 68" Long - Majestic Chocolate # 195-000004 is an excellent option for a sleeping sofa. It provides a sleeping surface of 70 x 50 inches. I reached out to my contact at Thomas Payne and they said that the sofa sits 2 inches off the floor so they estimate you would have about 5 inches to the bottom of the mattress. They don't have that exact measurement or the drawings you are seeking.
If you need more room than that, the only option we have is the Thomas Payne RV Jackknife Sofa with Leg Kit - 68" Long - Poise Dark Chocolate # 195-000016-017 which will give you 11-1/2 inches of clearance for your vent.
