Question:
I have a kayak carrier question. I want to add a Rhino rack rs 2500 to my 2016 Honda Pilot bare roof. I need to carry two long, fairly narrow sea kayaks on it 16-17.5 ft long, 22” wide hulls, 50-55 pounds each. Can those bars accommodate 2 sets of rear-loading saddles like the Rhino 581 nautic? If I have to use side-loading carriers, like the Rhino folding j-style carriers, would one j-carrier with the extension arm suffice for these two boats, or would I need two separate j-carriers? And would two of those fit on the Honda roof with these bars?
