Question:

Are there any class II trailer hitches available for a 2015 Prius. Im looking to get a Thule hitch swinging cargo container. Its available in 1.25inch but its only for class II hitches. What are your thoughts/recommendations?

All of the trailer hitches for the 2015 Toyota Prius are Class I hitches. Out of the available options I recommend Draw-Tite hitch # 24847 or # 24967 since they do not require the use of a stabilization strap like the Curt hitch.

Then you could use Curt cargo carrier # C18110 with cargo bag # e98990. This is as close as you can get to an enclosed cargo carrier on a Class I trailer hitch.
