You are correct, the Adarac Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # A70480 would not work with the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK26203 you have on your 2018 Ram 1500 with the 6-1/2' bed due to the angle of the uprights. Instead, you will want to use a ladder rack that has straight uprights which will not interfere with the panels on your tonneau cover like the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # A4000944.

Thanks for the help on this! Re: the pro version of the rack - can you provide me with the size specs of the rail that gets installed along the bed? I just want to make sure there’s no overlap on that and the tonneau cover.

Absolutely, the rails on the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # A4000944 measure to be 75" long x 2-1/2" wide. They are also rolled on each end which will allow for a slight overlap from the tonneau cover onto the bed rail.
