Can the Control Knob from the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite be Used for the Tow-Pro Classic

Can this part be used with the classic? Its prettier then the knob supplied with the classic.

I spoke with my contact at Redarc who said that the control knob # 331-EBRH-ACCV2-RH for the Tow-Pro Elite is specific for that system so unfortunately if you wanted that knob you would need the Elite part # RED44FR instead of the discontinued classic.
If you haven't already purchased the Tow-Pro Classic then you may want to consider purchasing the Tow-Pro Elite because it does come with advantages other than a better looking control knob.
The Classic is a time-delayed brake controller. This means that the trailer brakes will activate with a preset amount of strength every time you brake. The Elite, however, is a proportional controller. This means that the trailer brakes will be applied at the same time and with the same intensity as the brake pedal in your tow vehicle. The advantage with the Elite is that it also has the option to convert over to "user-control" mode which is the same thing as a time-delayed brake controller.
The Elite takes the functions of the Classic and brings them to a higher level. So even though the Classic is a great brake controller, the Elite offers the best of both worlds when it comes to controlling how your trailer brakes.
