Recommended Roof Rack for 2018 Subaru Crosstrek

I would be happy to make a recommendation for you, but would you be able to tell me if your 2018 Crosstrek has raised rails on the roof that run front to back or is it a naked roof (with no rails or anything else on it)? Thanks so much for any information you can provide.

I have raised rails on the roof. After reading a number of performance reviews between Thule Aeroblade Edge and Yakima Railbars and Flushbars (formally Whispbars), I'm leaning heavily with the Railbars. What are your thoughts?

The Yakima RailBar Crossbars, which are available in Silver # Y00433-0434 or Black # Y00448-0449 would be a great choice to add a roof rack to your 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. Regardless of the color you choose, the RailBars are going to give your Crosstrek a very sleek look due to their low-profile design. The bars are shaped aerodynamically to allow for a much quieter ride than bars of other shapes and the bars are also what is called an airfoil-style, which essentially just means the amount of drag you would get is significantly reduced compared to roof racks with square or round bars. The only other thing I recommend you get with these crossbars are Yakima Same Key System Lock Cores # Y07204 so you can lock the bars to the side rails of your Crosstrek.
