This lock is suppose to work on a Chevy Silverado, will it work on the Chevy 2009 Work Truck

The Tailgate Handle with BOLT Lock - Codes to Late Model GM Key # BL5922987 will work with your 2009 Chevy Work Truck key. The tailgate should be the same on your work truck because it is on the same chassis, but if it has been modified, then you would also need to modify the system, but the locking mechanism will absolutely work with your work truck.
