It sounds like you've already seen that the Draw-Tite front mount hitch, part # 65078, isn't confirmed to fit your 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 because of the Denali trim package. I tried to determine exactly how much fascia trimming is needed to see if it could be done with enough modification but I didn't have a lot of luck.
I can tell you that the receiver tube comes out from behind your front license plate. The cut out on non-Denali models needs to be 3-1/4 by 3-1/4 inches square and the bottom of the cut out is 3-5/8 inches from the ground. From what I can see there isn't much difference in the outside fascia in that area on the Denalis so I'm guessing there's something behind it that I can't see. You might take a peek at your truck and see what it all looks like.
Although the install details do say the issue is with fascia trimming it is possible there's more to it than that and there's electrical or something mechanical on the Denali that interferes.
I've linked a video of the hitch being installed. That may help you see the location so you compare to your truck.
