Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL

Question:
It would really be helpful to consumers if you had image close-up of the wiring adapter to see if it would plug into an existing tail lamp! The application is a 2018 Wrangler JL would love to know if it fits. The 2018 Wrangler JK harness doesnt work. I do know we need adapters on both the right and left tail lamp so this might be the item I need, but cant tell by the images here. In my shot attached, the upper adapter is the JK, the lower factory is the JL. They are different shapes. Thanks

You are correct, they are different shapes. The JL is the newest generation of the Jeep Wrangler. But there are also some 2018 JK models. Luckily we have them separated out in our fit guide. For your 2018 JL model you will need wiring harness # 118786. This is a brand new harness designed especially for the JL models. I can assure you that this will have the correct connectors for your Jeep.
