Can the Draw-Tite # 24819 and BikeWing-2 # B01311 be Used to Carry Bikes with a 2009 Toyota Yaris

You were so great with my last matchmaking a couple years ago, Im consulting you once again: I now have a 2009 Toyota Yaris sedan, and per your site, it will accept the following: Lets Go Aero BikeWing-2 2-Bike Rack - 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch Hitches - Horizontal Wheel Mount - B01311 24819 Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4inch - 24819 Id just like to confirm that it would be able to accommodate a Kona Honzo mountain bike they have comically wide stock bars and a womens Fuji Crosstown 2.3. The bikes Id put at probably 30lbs each. Thanks!

The Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24819 is a great option to use in conjunction with the Lets Go Aero BikeWing-2 # LGA54FR on your 2009 Toyota Yaris. They are both lightweight but can accommodate the weight that you are needing to carry.

To determine if your bikes can fit properly I can give you a few measurements. The center of the hitch pin hole for the receiver will sit about 3-1/2" - 3-3/4" from the rearmost part of your bumper. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the BikeWing-2 is 12". This means that your bike will be sitting about 8" away from your vehicle. As long as your handlebar doesn't stick out 8" then you should be good to go.

Please note that your vehicle doesn't have a towing weight capacity inless you are in Canada, then it is 700 lbs. I bring that up because typically the Tongue Weight (TW) of a vehicle is listed as 10% of the weight rating of the vehicle. This would mean that your Yaris has a TW capacity of 70 lbs. Since the BikeWing-2 weighs about 20 lbs, adding your two 30 lb bikes will be really close to the TW capacity. I would double check with your nearest Toyota dealership to see if they can confirm that these weights are okay on your Yaris.
