Question:
I was looking at the two options you offer for a front hitch for my 2009 ford f150 super crew xlt. I noticed the brand Curt noted in the instructions that I had to remove the towing loops from the front of my truck in order to properly install the hitch. The Draw Tite brand does not say that this is required. Preferably I would not like to loose these tow loops in any install. Could you tell me if I have to remove these in order to install the Draw Tite hitch. Thanks Chris

The Draw-Tite Front Hitch, # 65061, does not require removal of the tow loops for installation. I have provided a link to installation instructions for you to review.
Although Removal of the Tow Loops is required for installation of the CURT Front Mount Hitch, # C31068, they are only removed so that the front hitch can be sandwiched between the frame and the tow loops, so they are not lost, but reinstalled with the front mount hitch. A link to installation instructions for this hitch is provided also.
Along with the front mount hitch you may also be interested in a Winch Mounting Plate, # BDW20011, or a Tow Strap Loop, item # B4292201.
