For your wood splitter, I recommend using the Bulldog Rack-and-Gear Jack consisting of part # BD018006 and # BD018155 for an A-frame or # BD018161 for a pole tongue . This jack has a steel wheel, works with trailers that have a tongue weight up to 750 lbs, and comes with a weld-on bracket with a primer gray finish. The jack will provide you with 1" of travel for every 4 turns on the handle.
