The Rightline Gear Cargo Hatch Saddlebag part # RL100B90 is an extremely universal cargo bag for use on the back hatch of most suv's. They are not vehicle specific but after reviewing both the cargo bag and a 2011 Chevrolet HHR, I don't see any reason as to why they would not work with one another. The only thing I can think of is that you may lose a bit of visibility at the bottom portion of your rear window due to the size of the bag in comparison to the hatch. The bag includes a sack for storage. And the setup instructions are sewn into the sack, so you'll always be ready to saddle up and go.
If you do not have a roof rack installed then you will indeed need to use the Car Clips for Rightline Cargo Hatch Saddlebag part # RL100605.
