Are A-iPower Generators # 289-AP5000 Safe to Use with a Refrigerator and Air Conditioner

Question:
Your video says, inch Because this generator does not have a built in inverter, youll want to make sure you dont plug in sensitive electronic devices into it, such as television sets or your computer. If youre using this to power your RV, your RV already has a built in inverter I have had RVs for 15 yearsmost all have a 12 volt converter but most do NOT have an inverter or routinely have an inverter as your video implies some new expensive ones may for a residential fridge but the one in the video did not appear to be that style. So my question is -does it provide safe or clean enough power to not damage the roof AC or Fridge also what about these built in Onan generators that some RVs have installed-are they inverter generators that do not hurt the flat screen TVs?

Converters, changing AC to DC power, and inverters, changing DC to AC power, both would first have to go to something on the trailer to regulate that power. That something is a transfer switch and it is usually designed to compensate for any issues that power transfer may cause whether it is coming for AC shore power or DC generators such as # 289-AP5000.
Things like TVs and computers have sensitive electronics that need a clean sine wave to operate correctly and to get the most life out of item. TVs made for the RV industry are also a bit more structurally sound than a TV you would put in your house. This is to protect the RV TV from damage caused by vibrations when the rig is moving. Air conditioners and refrigerators are not as sensitive so if the generator used did not have protection for sensitive electronics the AC and fridge would still be fine.
I don't know much about the Onan generators except that there are numerous models and most likely there are some that are plain Jane generators and others that are more sophisticated.
