Will this mount easily and what is the anticipated clearance from the ground? Also, is a 2 inch receiver standard?

The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65052 is not a confirmed fit for your 2010 Chevy Suburban Z71. The Z71 is excluded from their fit, so I recommend the Curt # C31012 instead. It will required drilling and some trimming of the front air dam.
The 2 inch receiver opening is standard for all front mounted hitch applications. This will hang down about 2 inches from the bottom of your air dam to help you determine your ground clearance. I've attached a video of a similar install to assist.
