Can Plug-In Adapter be Used to Install P2 Brake Controller in a 2018 Ram 1500 with Tow Package

Question:
Hello, I want to install an aftermarket brake controller in my 2018 Ram 1500 with the tow package. After installation does the software have to be flashed by the dealer, or is it a plug and play installation ? prodigy P2 Thanks for your help

You will not need to get your 2018 Ram 1500 flashed after installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 unless a warning light pops up.
This is a simple installation where you use the Plug-In Adapter # 3024-P which connects to the factory brake controller connector under your driver side dash. This will be in line with the accelerator pedal as you can see in the attached installation video.
