i have a 2018 mazda cx-3 and am trying to find best roof rack solution. i already own thule ski rack and cargo box. i dont like idea of the gutter mount thule so comparing rhino vs oem rails and cross bars. cost seems similar. id like to be able to get roof rack on and off easily. with the roof mounted rhino rack where its screwed into pre-existing points on roof, is that easy to get on and off or once its screwed in, is it best to leave it on? thank you.

The Rhino-Rack roof rack part # RR46XR actually have a fairly easy installation which also means that they can be removed fairly easily.
If you check out the attached installation video (mark 3:28) of a similar Rhino-Rack roof rack, which consists of parts # RRVA118B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK384 for your CX-3, on a 2016 Mazda CX-5 you can see that there is one bolt/screw that secures each leg onto the roof of your 2018 Mazda CX-3. It wouldn't be too much to take the crossbars off if you wanted to.
These roof racks come with locking covers which keep people who are walking by from simply taking off the roof rack. They will first need to beat the lock and cover before getting to the bolt.
The Rhino-Rack roof racks for your CX-3 are great products which will give you a 165 lb weight capacity. You will need to check the owner's manual for the roof weight capacity of your CX-3 though to be sure you do not exceed it.
